The Comfort Zone provides care for children ages 6 months to 12 years of age with routine childhood illnesses. Professional child care staff and an on-site nurse provide care to help children slowly return to normal activity during illness. The Comfort Zone offers a home-like atmosphere with a flexible routine and developmentally appropriate activities. The staff encourage families to visit before using the service. Hours for this program are 8:30 to 4:30.
Pre-registration for the Comfort Zone is required.
The Comfort Zone is sponsored by Iowa State University, Story County Empowerment and the University Community Childcare. It is available to all families in the Story County Area. Call 294-3333 for more information.
