Infant Program (Cuddly Cubs)
The Cuddly Cubs program provides care for 12 children from six weeks up to 24 months old. There are four full time teachers in this room with each teacher providing primary care for four children.
Toddler-2's (Hoppin' Kangaroos)
The Hoppin' Kangaroos program provides care for 16 children from 18 months up to 3 years old. There are four full time teachers in this room with each teacher providing primary care for specific children.
The Jumpin' Monkeys preschool room is open from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday year around.
The Tumblin' Tigers preschool room is open from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday from the beginning of the ISU fall semester through May of each year. Children of ISU student families are eligible for this program. A variety of part-time schedule options are available to meet the needs of ISU student parents.
This room is also a community site for the Ames Community School District's State-wide Voluntary Preschool program. Children who are 4 years old on or before Sept. 15 each year are eligible to enroll for 10 free hours of preschool. Wrap around care is available.
The Cheerful Cheetahs preschool room is open from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday - Friday from September through May of each year. Children may be enrolled 3 or 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday.
The School Age room is open before and after public school for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Space is available for 21 children of ISU student, staff and faculty families. A full day program is offered during public school breaks and the summer months.
UCC provides three preschool programs for children from 2.5 to 5 years old to fit the needs of families. Enrollment is maintained at 16 children in each room.
