University Community Childcare is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing quality child care to families with children, especially Iowa State University students, staff and faculty. We are a multicultural child care center located on the ISU campus since 1971. Monthly fees are based on student/staff/faculty status, income, and family size.
The Center provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years and manages the Comfort Zone, a program for mildly ill children. UCC also offers a Flex-care Preschool which is a part-time program for 3-5 year old children of ISU student families and a Morning-only Preschool for families interested in a preschool experience before entering the public school system.
